Looking to get your hands dirty for a good cause...join us for Trail Work Wednesdays!
With all of the flooding that has occurred along the Palmetto Trail, we are in need of volunteers to help us get the trail back on its feet again!
Trail Work Wednesdays will be held EVERY Wednesday, with a specific passage designated for cleanup for each month. We are kicking off this effort beginning in November along the Fort Jackson Passage of the Palmetto Trail. Every Wednesday during this month, PCF staff and volunteers will be out clearing, building, hauling, raking, lopping, and doing whatever is necessary to get the Fort Jackson Passage back to its best!
We want YOU to help us make a difference to South Carolina's Palmetto Trail!
*Trail Work Wednesdays will run from 9am - 12pm (with the option to stay after lunch until 3pm) every Wednesday. Meeting place along the Fort Jackson Passage will be announced prior to the workday depending on where cleanup is needed.
*Snacks and water will be provided. Volunteers will need to provide their own lunch.
